Submit yours!

Please note: submitting your abstract for the Call for Abstracts is not valid as a registration for the Conference.

Registrations for SYNC 2024 are open. To register click here!

Please, use the Abstract Template for contribution submission.

Attention: the abstract file for submission must be in .doc format (the system doesn’t accept rich text format).

During the Abstract submission procedure, you can choose the way you would like to deliver your contribution (Oral presentation or Poster).

Posters should be printed 70 cm wide x 100 cm high, please ensure that your poster does not exceed this size. Posters should be displayed in portrait style.

Submission Procedure

Notes to authors who wish to submit a contribution to SYNC 2024:

  1. Abstracts must be submitted via this form. Emailed abstracts will not be considered.
  2. Your abstract is not successfully submitted until you receive a confirmation email after clicking the final submit button. Receipt for the successful submission of an abstract will be the email generated after the module is sent. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us.
  3. Please record your received email and use it to reaccess your abstract if you need to edit it. This will help avoid duplicate submissions and simplify communications. Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final acceptance.
Please read the submission rules before submitting an abstract.
  4. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  5. The presenting author must be listed as the first author.
  6. Please note the submitting author will receive all correspondence about the abstract so we advise that the submitting author details that are entered are the same details as those of the presenting author.
  7. If the abstract cannot be accepted, the author will be notified of this fact as soon as possible. If an oral presentation is requested on the short abstract, an attempt will be made to honor that request. However, if the topic of the requested oral presentation does not fit in an oral session, or if an inordinately large number of requests for oral presentations are received, the presentation may be moved to a poster session. When no preference is indicated, the contribution will be located in either an oral or a poster session depending on the topic.

Please read the instructions to authors and prepare the following information before submitting abstracts. This will save you and the organizers time and effort in preparing the program.
